ARK ON ATITLAN and MOONFISH CAFE
The first adventure is a stay at Ark on Atitlan’s sustainability project and farm. Six remote lakeshore acres of organic cultivation, nature and permaculture style projects nestle amongst traditional Mayan crops, inviting nature lovers to volcano side relaxation and exploration. At the Ark enjoy great natural food from Moonfishcafe and even higher levels of food available only at the farm. Then enjoy one of a kind hiking biking or lake tours.
Moonfish founders have been practicing organic farming and sustainable development at our farm for seventeen years. Ark on Atitlan’s Patulpin location is far from roads and electric lines. The Ark perches on volcano San Pedro gazing at both lake and volcano Atitlan. Above Ark on Atitlan spread traditional orchards, volcano heights and a vast stretch of some of the most inaccessible land in highland Guatemala.
